Start by collecting photographs of ideas and items you would like to use in your home.
We then design the room concentrating on functionality while keeping the finished look and feel in mind.
Formulate a materials budget.
Once a preliminary design is decided upon, it’s time to get bids from general contractors to determine a total job cost. One thing to keep in mind is that the typical remodeling project exceeds the preliminary investment amount by about 13%.
Appliances are now selected and purchased. The equipment used may change the design because the cabinets are build around the appliances.
At this point the countertop materials (such as granite) are selected and reserved; you are now formulating the room’s color palette.
Shop for cabinetry and accessories and select a doorstyle and finish color.
Backsplash and flooring materials are selected.
Sinks, faucets and fixtures are now decided upon and purchased.
It’s now time to revisit the room design, revise as needed and purchase cabinetry.
All plans and product specifications are assembled into comprehensive project documents for the contracting staff.
Once all products have been delivered to the house, it’s time to start the construction phase of the project.
